Crafter's Night
This event has become the BYOC (Bring your own Chair) ;). event at Gate City
Yarns. We have run out of seating a couple of times it is so popular! Some folks
are bringing folding chairs. This night is a great opportunity to hang with other
crafters. Spinning, weaving, crochet, and knitting are all going on. There is a big
time show and tell. There is no charge for this event. It happens monthly on the
third Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm! Everyone is welcome. And now we have the
fireplace working!

Greensboro, Inc. Many merchants are
open extended hours these nights. For us
it has become another excuse to hang out

| Drew Emborsky, aka The Crochet Dude®, was taught to crochet at age five by his mother while snowbound in Lake Tahoe. After studying fine art in college and doing the “starving artist” thing for years, he found solace in crocheting for charity while grieving the passing of his mom. It was during this time with the charity group that he became known as The Crochet Dude, which then led to the launch of his wildly popular blog in 2005 - www.thecrochetdude.com Since then Drew has had published numerous patterns in magazines and compilations books, his own full-length books, has appeared as a guest on various TV programs, and is currently the crochet expert on the hit PBS show "Knit and Crochet Now". Watch out, crochet has a new Boye® toy, as Drew has teamed up with Boye® brand hooks to launch his own line of kits, hooks, tools & accessories, premiering summer 2010!
